Last weekend 9th September was my ceremony for receiving my degree from the Open University at Versaille.
I travelled there with my wife, son and his girlfriend and we stayed in a hotel in Versaille, which I had visited some 13 years ago but had forgotten most of it.
Ceremony went well and we travelled in to Paris and visited the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Left Bank and did the boat trip.
What a lovely time we had not so much the ceremony itself which was also interesting becuase it was the culmination of so much hard work and at times I never thought I would ever finish it and pass all the exams.
My son and his girlfriend were a pleasure to have along and they made the trip so much more special.
